Due to federal and international hazardous material shipping regulations, special DOT approved shipping boxes and additional paperwork are involved in shipping those chemicals with the "HAZ" icon.

For this extra handling, a $35.00 surcharge for each ground HAZMAT shipment and a $45.00 surcharge for each air HAZMAT shipment.

When shipping four (4), and frequently just three (3), HAZMAT chemical boxes it is often less expensive to ship via common carrier. When possible, we will recommend batching large chemical and supply orders into truck shipments to reduce freight charges.

AWS staff can assist you in preparing larger batched orders to reduce freight charges.
